Oscar nomination predictions

Aside from Oscar night, Tuesday morning will be the final step to determing the best of 2010 in the motion picture industry. I predicted the Oscar nominations for the last three years and I have rarely been wrong (except for maybe missing the mark by one or two). Here are my predictions for the Oscar nominations:

Best Picture

127 Hours, Black Swan, The Fighter, Inception, The Kids Are All Right, The King’s Speech, The Social Network, Toy Story 3, The Town and True Grit

Alternative: Winter’s Bone

Best Actor

Jeff Bridges-True Grit, Robert Duvall-Get Low, Jesse Eisenberg–The Social Network, Colin Firth–The King’s Speech, James Franco-127 Hours

Alternative: Javier Bardem-Biutiful

Best Actress

Annette Benning-The Kids Are All Right, Nicole Kidman-Rabbit Hole, Jennifer Lawrence-Winter’s Bone, Natalie Portman-Black Swan, Michelle Williams-Blue Valentine

Alternative: Hailee Steinfeld-True Grit

Best Supporting Actor

Christian Bale-The Fighter, Andrew Garfield-The Social Network, Jeremy Renner-The Town, Mark Ruffallo-The Kids Are All Right, Geoffrey Rush-The King’s Speech

Alternative: John Hawkes- Winter’s Bone

Best Supporting Actress

Best Director
